SIRI LANGONE
Siri Langone surveys and subverts memory, found images and artistic narratives through her paintings, which aim to unearth feelings of vulnerability, frustration, or desire. And often draw on human experience and ideas of the collective unconscious. Defaced figures, dark, gritty, becomes a revelatory symbolic gesture of the collective unconscious and the inner workings of the artist’s own mind and process.
